Arthur Klement Siwinski, 61, passed away at his home after a lengthy illness.
Arthur was born on May 7th, 1962 at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. He attended school at Lewiston Porter, and graduated in 1980. He went on to achieve a Pre-Engineering Math Science Degree and an AAS Degree in Electrical Technology from Niagara County Community College. Art worked at several places in his career: Bell Aerospace in Niagara Falls, Brittany Industries in North Tonawanda, and Sam’s Club in Niagara Falls.
Arthur was well known and loved in his work circles, played Bass Guitar in the Iconic band Psychedelic Test in the 80’s, made many close friends, and was much loved and highly regarded by his family and nieces and nephews.
Art enjoyed Music of many kinds, had a huge CD collection, loved watching sci-fi and horror movies, was an avid fisherman, smoked and enjoyed good hand-rolled cigars, was into stargazing through his binoculars, loved burning candles, was an old hi-fidelity equipment buff, he collected coins and stamps and took many concert photos that could have been on the cover of the Rolling Stone!
Art had an incredible knack for carrying on an intelligent conversation with anyone about any subject. He had a quirky sense of humor that endeared all who listened to him, and a loud infectious laugh that invited even the most stoic to smile!
Arthur will be missed by his family: His Mother Marie Siwinski of Winter Haven Florida, Sisters Melissa Napoli of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Joanne Siwinski of Rochester NY, a Brother Paul (Carla) Siwinski of Youngstown NY, Neice Sarah Siwinski, Nephews: Dennis (Eliezl) Hoffmann, Steven Siwinski, and Joseph (JJ) Napoli, Grand niece and nephew: Francheska and Daniel Hoffmann.
He is pre-deceased by his Father George W. Siwinski and nephew David F. Siwinski
Visitation Services will be held at the Hardison Funeral Home 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville on Thursday, February 15th, from 5-7pm, and a Christian Mass of Burial Friday, February 16th, at 10:00am at St. Bernards Church of Youngstown, followed by internment at North Ridge Cemetery, (4187 Church Road, Lockport, 14094).
