Edwin W. Lagace

Edwin W. Lagace, age 79, of Niagara Falls died Monday, January 8th, 2024, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Edwin was born January 14th, 1944, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Edwin R. and the late Ruth (Golding) Lagace. He was a 1961 graduate of Lew-Port CSD. He married Elaine Helpap on June 21, 1963, she predeceased him on April 13th, 2002.

Edwin retired in 1994 from Nabisco Shredded Wheat, during his time there he was a union steward and played on the fast pitch softball team. He enjoyed drag racing, playing cards, football and hockey, his grandchildren, and was known for his heart of gold and helping anyone who needed it.

He is survived by three sons; Eric Lagace, Steven (Amy) Lagace and Richard Lagace; his siblings, David Lagace, Ruth-Ellen Lagace, and Gayle Barnes; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother Donald Lagace.

Family and friends will be present at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. from 1-4 PM. on SATURDAY January 20th. .

A private burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
