Lucille M. Cassick

Lucille M. Cassick, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Northgate Health Care Facility. She was 98 years old. Born on January 25, 1926, in Eldred, PA, Lucille was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest Pries and Marion (nee Stone) Pries.

Lucille dedicated many years of her life as a waitress at Greenwalt Restaurant and Mom's Restaurant, where she became fondly known as the "Waitress with the flowers in her hair." Lucille graciously accepted the honor of being named the "Bingo Queen." Her warm smile and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she served.

She is preceded in death by her cherished husband, Richard A. Cassick, along with four brothers and two sisters. Lucille's legacy lives on through her loving daughters, Violet Laughlin and Phyllis (Thomas) Huisgen. She leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Debra Runyon, Thomas Wycoff, Nathan (Dana) Huisgen and Amber (Roland) Villarreale; seven adored great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; dear siblings, Jerry Pries and Madalene (Ralph) Fava. Lucille is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Lucille will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to her family, and her unique charm that touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed.

Arrangements are entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC. A private interment will take place at Acacia Park Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
