Beatrice M. Linton

Beatrice M. Linton, aged 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home in Lewiston, NY. She was born on April 16, 1937, in Niagara Falls, New York, to the late Robert and Beulah (née Lasher) Saunderson.

In May of 1956, Beatrice married the love of her life, the late Robert B. Linton, in Wilson, NY. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home in Ransomville, where they lovingly raised their two children. Beatrice and Robert shared a passion for travel, cherishing their trips to the Southern Tier and Amish country in Pennsylvania, as well as their visits with family. Beatrice was also well-known for her enjoyment of Bingo, often spending time at the Senior Center bingo hall, where her memorable and humorous call of "Bingo…... I think" never failed to bring smiles and laughter. Beatrice's legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed.

Beatrice was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Robert B. Linton, Sr., her parents, and her siblings: Betty, Marie, Myrtie, Rachel, Bobbie, Johnny, Jimmy, Jerry, Sam and Gene.

She is survived by her devoted children, Pamela (James) Tweed and Robert B. (Megan) Linton, Jr.; her cherished grandchildren, Megan Tweed, Jordan Tweed, and Alyssa Banas; and her dear sisters, Edith Forsyth and Ruth Sumner. Beatrice also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hardison Funeral Homes, Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
