Brenda L. Palmer of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Buffalo, Inc., after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 76.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Brenda was the cherished daughter of the late James and Loretta (née Buttery) Canfield. On October 10, 2015, Brenda married the love of her life, Kevin Palmer, in Hamburg, NY. Together, they shared a deep bond and a passion for travel, journeying hand-in-hand through all 50 states. Brenda also treasured her adventures abroad, especially her trips to Spain and Italy with her daughter, and her annual getaways with her beloved group of girlfriends. Her generous spirit extended to volunteering with Hospice, a cause close to her heart in memory of her dear mother. Brenda’s legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Brenda’s warmth, resilience, and unwavering love for her family defined her life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin Palmer; her loving daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Wesolowski of Lockport, NY and Amanda Swidergal of Raleigh, NC; and her cherished grandchildren, Zachary (Julia) Wesolowski and Brianna Wesolowski. She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Susan (Steve) Hillman; brother-in- law Tom Woods; nieces, Melissa (Chris) Mullen, Kristen (Pat) McCoy and Kelly Pollit; and nephew, Jim (Danelle) Veillette. Brenda was predeceased by her sisters, Judith Canfield and Joan Woods.
