Carol A. Love

Carol A. Love, of the Town of Niagara, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, March 5, 2026. She was 72.

Born on May 30, 1953 in Niagara Falls, Carol was the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Marian S. (Smith) Love. She was a proud graduate of Wilson High School, Class of 1971. Carol dedicated more than 40 years of service to Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, where she worked as a switchboard operator and was known for her steady presence, kindness, and reliability.

On May 26, 2001, Carol married Michael H. Conway, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing on July 20, 2020.

Carol was a longtime member of Ransomville Baptist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary #830, and the Wheatfield Seniors. She loved spending time with her dog, enjoyed camping and traveling, and found peace in taking scenic rides along Lake Ontario. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and love for simple joys will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Michael, Carol was predeceased by her caring brother‑in‑law, Joe Connell.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Shannon Fisher; her cherished granddaughter, Love Brandi Fisher; and her dear siblings, Linda Connell, Robert (Tina) Love, and William (Colleen) Love. She is also survived by her “Grand Dog,” Duke; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; Devin (Kim) Borget, Dana Borget, and their families; as well as many dear friends who enriched her life.

The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 2–6 PM at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11 AM. Friends invited.
