Cheryl L. Fulton‑Sears of Ransomville, NY passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. She was 77.

Born in Dallas, Texas on August 24, 1948, Cheryl was the daughter of the late Robert Moss and Inga Lilly (Ahlgren) Fulton. She later made her home in Western New York, where she built a life rooted in love, service, and devotion to her family.

On August 22, 1998, Cheryl married Dennis J. Sears in Wilson, NY. The two shared a joyful honeymoon adventure to Brazil, a reflection of Cheryl’s lifelong love of travel. Over the years, her journeys took her to England, France, Italy, and many other memorable places, each trip adding to the stories she cherished sharing with those she loved.

Cheryl began volunteering with the Niagara County Office for the Aging, a role that grew into her position as a site manager with FeedMore WNY. She was deeply committed to the people she served, offering kindness, compassion, and steady support to her community.

Family was the heart of Cheryl’s world. Her happiness was found in the happiness of those she loved, and she poured her energy into creating warmth, connection, and joy for her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis; her loving children, Lisa (David) Seligman, Corina (Randy) Chevanne, and Erik O’Rourke; and her cherished grandchildren, twelve in number, along with six adored great‑grandchildren. Cheryl is also survived by two sisters, one brother, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
