Clara Rena (Coffin) Swazey, 89 years of age of Wilson NY, wife of Roy Swazey, passed away on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, at Hyder House Hospice in Dover NH. Clara was born September 2nd, 1934 in Kingsboro, Price Edward Island Canada to Louise and Percy Coffin. Clara married Roy Swazey on May 22,1954

in Niagara Falls NY. Clara and Roy shared 66 Years of marriage and partnership, enjoying and maintaining their beloved three-acre homestead in Wilson since 1970.

Clara immigrated to the United States in 1954 after her marriage to Roy. Clara soon gave birth to her son Glen in March of 1955. Clara was a homemaker for

many years. Clara also worked in the vineyards of WNY for many years tying

and harvesting grapes. Clara was a wonderful mother, cook and friend to many

in Wilson. Clara also spent many hours with her sister Elsie who resided in Niagara Falls Ontario and looked forward to their trips back to PEI. Clara passed away peacefully at the Hyder House Family Hospice with her son Glen, daughter-in-law Beverly and niece Cheryl at her side. Our family would like to extend our many thanks to the wonderful staff of this facility for the kindness and care given to Clara and her family members.

Clara is survived by her son Glen (Beverly) Swazey of Hampton NH, grandchildren Kelli, Jessica, Nigel and Ryan. Sister Margaret, sister Eilleen, brother Sheldon, brother Weston and sister Birdie and many nieces and nephews.

Clara was predeceased by brother Winslow, brother Willam, brother Lee, brother Steward, sister Elsie, brother Preston, brother Stanley, sister Clara Rena, and brother Kenneth.

There will be no services. Burial will be held in New Brunswick, Canada.
