Dale C. Myers, Jr.

Dale C. Myers, Jr., affectionately known as “Buddy,” passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Newfane Rehab and Health Care Facility. He was 77.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Buddy was the son of the late Dale C. and Ruth M. (née Buttery) Myers. He built a career working at the Lockport Felt Company Factory in Newfane, dedicating years of service until the factory’s closing in the 1980s. A true automotive enthusiast, Buddy was lovingly known as “Mr. Pontiac” for his deep passion for cars. Whether rebuilding engines or sharing stories of his favorite classics, his love for all things mechanical was woven into the fabric of his everyday life. Buddy’s memory will live on in each turn of a wrench, every rev of an engine, and in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Beverly Murray, and his son-in-law Steve Pasek. He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his children, Lynette Pasek, Dale (Sharon) Myers III, and Kevin (Nicole) Myers; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Sanger and Nicholas Myers; and his great-grandson, Anson Sanger. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Lloyd Murray, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
