Dennis M. Cook

Dennis M. Cook, of Wilson, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice. He was 69.

Born in Buffalo, NY, Dennis was a proud graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School.His professional journey was marked by dedication and versatility, serving as Manager of the Lockport K-Mart Store and later as District Manager for Uni-Marts. He also drove for Interstate Battery before discovering his true calling: cooking. Dennis brought warmth and flavor to the kitchens of Casey’s, Wagner’s, and many beloved local restaurants, where his culinary talents became a source of joy for the community.Beyond his work, Dennis found his greatest fulfillment in the company of those he loved. 

Whether sharing quiet moments or hearty laughter, he cherished time spent with his longtime companion, Bonnie L. Evans; his devoted children, Joshua (Kristine) Cook and Jacob (Charlotte) Cook; and his treasured grandchildren, Mya, Ava, Greysen, Joshua Jr., and Jameson. He is also survived by his sister, Jeri Jean, along with nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will remember his generous spirit and kind heart.

Dennis’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and the simple pleasures of a well-lived life. His memory will be celebrated in the hearts of all who knew him.
