Dorothy Helen Albright

Dorothy H. Albright, formerly of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026, with her family by her side. She was 104.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 19, 1922, Dorothy was the daughter of the late George and Mathilde (Fritz) Neubauer. A 1940 graduate of Niagara Falls High School, she went on to build a life marked by devotion to family, faith, and community.

On May 18, 1945, Dorothy married the love of her life, Gordon F. Albright. Together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage until Gordon’s passing in 2000.

Dorothy worked for many years as a supervisor at McCrory’s Store in Lewiston, where her steady leadership and kind nature were appreciated by coworkers and customers alike. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in the Town of Niagara and participated faithfully in the Ladies Guild, cherishing the fellowship and service the group provided.

In addition to her husband, Dorothy was predeceased by her cherished grandson, Terry D. Gardner; and her dear siblings, Winifred Meade, Lawrence (Joan) Neubauer, Richard (Evelyn) Neubauer, and Roy (Emma) Neubauer.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn (John) Falbo; her treasured grandchildren, Shawn (Lana) Gardner and Joel (Kate) Falbo; and several nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth, resilience, and gentle spirit.
