George W. Maracle, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo after a brief illness. He was 70.
Born on September 25, 1955, in Niagara Falls, NY, George was the son of the late Charles and Lucille (née Smoke) Maracle. He was a 1974 graduate of Trott Vocational, where he first discovered his love for working with his hands, something that would shape both his career and his life.

Saturdays were often spent watching home improvement shows, always eager to learn a new technique or gather inspiration for his next project. He was also an avid hockey player in his youth and a devoted supporter of the Buffalo Sabres, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty.
On June 3, 1989, George married the former Yvonne L. Smith at the Ransomville Free Methodist Church. Their life together was filled with love, partnership, and the simple joys of home and family.
