With hearts full of sorrow, we announce the passing of our mother, Gladys Jeanette Schultz, who died of a brain hemorrhage on July 29. She was 83 years old. A woman of extraordinary strength, she was a kind, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Jeanette was born and raised in Niagara Falls, the daughter of the late Joseph and Germaine (Lepine) Hlavenka, and was married to her husband Gary Schultz for 49 years. She spent her work life dedicated to education and was employed at Lewiston Porter School District for over twenty years before retiring with Gary and moving to Port. St. Lucie, Florida. Her love of traveling with family and friends made for many fun adventures all across the country, but especially to Disney World.
Jeanette was predeceased by her loving husband Gary, and her daughter, Lynn Marie Schultz.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Schultz, her daughter, Lora (Joe) Kolmer, her brother Joseph (Suzanne) Hlavenka, grandchildren Nathan (Megan) and Evan Schultz, Naomi and Shae Kolmer, as well as numerous relatives, and friends from New York and Florida. She will also be dearly missed by her friends at The Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach.
