Irene M. Hoysradt passed away on February 13, 2026 at the age of 84, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and family.

Born in May 19, 1941 she was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her husband Jim, and her children and grandchildren. Family meant everything to her, she was very proud of her children and grandchildren and she treasured every moment spent together—whether it was a simple conversation, a hug, a shared meal, or time outdoors.

Irene had a deep love for gardening and found peace in tending to her flowers and plants. She also loved being outdoors in the sun and felt most at home surrounded by nature and family. Her garden was a reflection of who she was: patient, nurturing, and full of quiet beauty.

She is survived by her children, Albert and his wife Joy, Theresa and her husband Mark Mariani, Christine and her husband Ed Clary, Jimmy Hoysradt and her grandchildren, Zachary and Stephanie, Jack, Owen and Kurtis and her great grandchildren Kierra, Ilsa and Ivy, Ellie and Ezra, and Kinsley who will forever carry her love with them. She was preceded in death by her parents Joesph and Theresa and by the love of her life James. They both loved each other deeply and shared a love for dancing together.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 3-7 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 401 Ridge Street, Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from St. Peter RC Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston at 10 AM. Family and friends are asked to please assemble at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lewiston Senior Center, 4361 Lower River Road Youngstown, NY 14174 in her memory.

As a woman of faith, she trusted in the Lord and lived her life guided by love, compassion, and grace. We find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into eternal peace and reunited with loved ones who went before her. Her faith and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.
