James F. Stark, Jr.

James Fredrick Stark, Jr., 74, of Youngstown, NY, passed away suddenly on February 23, 2026. Born on May 26, 1951 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James F. and Helen M. (nee Pallerine) Stark, Sr.

James was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He married the former Kimberly Jenkins in Niagara Falls, and together they built a loving home in Youngstown, where they raised their family and shared 45 devoted years.

A proud Veteran, James served his country with honor, retiring as a Staff Sergeant from the United States Army, following in the footsteps of his father, a WWII Veteran. His work ethic and versatility were evident throughout his life—he was proud to have been an apple farmer, a local truck driver, and, in his younger years, an auto body specialist.

James had a deep love for his horses, his pets, and above all, his family. His presence, steady and kind, will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bryan W. Mort.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly; his loving children, Christina (Michael) Erskine and James B. Stark; and his cherished grandchildren, Bradley, Chelsey, Tiffany, Britany, and Zachary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
