Josephine M. Davison, of Youngstown, NY, formerly of Wheatfield, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. She was 88.

Born on August 8, 1938, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Kosakowski) Conti. Josephine was a graduate of Sacred Heart of Buffalo School and continued her education at St. Mary’s Business School.

On June 23, 1956, she married Robert J. Davison, sharing a loving and devoted marriage until his passing in 1992. Josephine took great pride in serving as secretary for her husband’s business, Robert J. Davison Construction, a role she cherished. Over the years, she also worked as a waitress at Dickie’s Donuts and as a lead teacher at Small World Too Day Care in Wheatfield, where her kindness and patience touched many young lives.

Family was the heart of Josephine’s world. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great‑grandchildren, finding joy in their laughter, accomplishments, and the closeness they shared. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Albert’s, where she took pride in teaching Sunday school and later at St. Bernard’s Church in Youngstown, where her faith remained a guiding presence throughout her life.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Josephine was predeceased by her dear siblings, Francis Conti and Antoinette Hirsch.

She is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Georgianna), Michael (Jean), Beverly (Al) Ayala, Thomas (Sue), and Lisa (Mark) Leffler; 16 cherished grandchildren; and 20 adored great‑grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister, Marie Wolf, along with many extended loving family members, nieces, and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 9:00–10:15 AM at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, where prayers will be offered at 10:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 AM from St. Peter R.C. Parish – St. Bernard Site, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown. Friends are invited. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Tonawanda.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Josephine’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
