Julie Vasily Kayutkin, of Tonawanda, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at ECMC after a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 32.
Born in Buffalo, NY, Julie was the cherished daughter of Vasiliy V. Kayutkin and the late Irina N. (née Krechko) Kayutkin. She grew up in Pendleton and attended Starpoint Central Schools, where she graduated in 2011. A gifted athlete, Julie shined as a track star, known for her speed and determination on the field. She later continued her education at Niagara County Community College.
Julie’s passions were as vibrant as her spirit. She had a deep love for animals and expressed her creativity through drawing and painting, often capturing the beauty she saw in the world around her. Her artistic soul was matched by her enthusiasm for gymnastics and running—activities that reflected her energy and grace.
Above all, Julie treasured time spent with her family. Whether sharing laughter, stories, or quiet moments, her presence brought warmth and joy to those she loved most. Julie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Julie is survived by her devoted father, Vasiliy V. Kayutkin; her loving siblings, Victoria (Victor) Fetter and Eddie Kayutkin; her adored nephew, Cameron; and her maternal grandfather, Nikolay Krechko. She is also remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched with kindness and creativity.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held privately by the family.
