June M. Schuman, of Cambria, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Elma, NY, June was the daughter of Alfred and Helen (Gnaedinger) Miller. After graduating high school, she began her career with the Federal Reserve Bank in Buffalo, NY. She later worked alongside her first husband, Gerald Brown, owning and operating Brown's Trout Hatchery in East Aurora. June went on to drive school bus for the Iroquois School District and later worked for Pfeiffer's Food in Wilson, NY before retiring.June lived a life rooted in faith, service, and community. She was a devoted member of North Ridge United Methodist Church, where she participated in the church's knitting group. She was also an active member of the Wilson Conservation Club and proudly served with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cambria Fire Company. Her gentle spirit, generosity, and steadfast presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.

June was predeceased by her parents; her second husband, Robert Schuman, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2011; her son, Fred Brown; granddaughter, Tammy Brown; her brother, Edwin; and sisters, Janet and Eleanor.

She leaves behind a lasting legacy in her children: Jeanette Gillogly, Richard (Jen) Brown, Bonnie (Patrick) Smith, Lori Brown, and stepson Kenneth Schuman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14131.Family & Friends are to assemble at church for 11AM service Friday, July 3, 2026, at North Ridge United Methodist Church, 3930 N. Ridge Road, Lockport, NY 14094, followed by interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria.Family has requested that if donations would like to be made, they be made to North Ridge United Methodist Church in her name.Please share condolences at HARDISONFUNERALHOMES.com
