Karla Kristine Brown, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Erie County Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Karla’s family was the center of her world. She cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, and found joy in creating lasting memories with them. Karla had a passion for gardening, making homemade jellies, and baking Christmas cookies—which she lovingly delivered to friends and family each year.
A true animal lover, Karla was known for her compassion and willingness to care for any creature in need. Her generous spirit and kind heart reflected the values she lived by—especially her guiding principle: “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”
Karla was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Carmen (Fernandez) Johnson. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Warren Brown; her beloved children: James (Emily) Brown, Angela (Bruce) Reynolds, and Cary (Mark) Newman; and her adored grandchildren: Jack, Erin, Ben, Ella, Liberty, Althea, and Zach. She also leaves behind her cherished niece, Carmen Fernandez (Grant Peehler), as well as her beloved dogs, Ernie and Gibby, and her toothless cat, Meatball.
Karla's warmth, generosity, and love for both people and animals will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her,
