Kenneth D. Bjorgan

Kenneth D. Bjorgan, 88, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on August 20, 2026, at the McAuley Residence in Kenmore, NY.

Born on March 14, 1938, in Jamestown, North Dakota, Ken was the son of the late Adolph G. and Florence Irene (Nelson) Bjorgan. He proudly served in the United States Army in the early 1960s, carrying his service with quiet dignity throughout his life.

On February 14, 1969, Ken married the former Jean Durr in Brickerville, Pennsylvania. Together they shared 35 years of marriage until Jean’s passing on May 13, 2015. Their life together was marked by devotion, steadiness, and mutual respect.

Ken worked as a shipping and receiving clerk, a career that took him across the United States and Canada. He enjoyed the travel and the people he met along the way, embracing the independence and rhythm of the work.

Besides his parents and beloved wife, Ken was predeceased by a step‑son, **Dale Miller**.

He is survived by his brother, Robert A. Bjorgan of Kenmare, North Dakota; his step‑daughter, Sharon Kulp of Weirton, West Virginia; and his dear neighbor, Jennifer Tyler, whose friendship and support meant a great deal to him.
