Mary Ann Manfre, formerly of Wilson, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg, NY. She was 84.

Born in Buffalo, New York, Mary Ann was the beloved daughter of the late William and Stephanie (nee Grabowski) Sporney. A proud graduate of West Seneca High School, Class of 1958, she carried the values of hard work and kindness throughout her life.

Mary Ann worked as a receptionist for Western New York Septic, where her warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Outside of work, she found joy in kayaking, sewing, and crafting, creative pursuits that reflected her gentle spirit and love for beauty in everyday life.

A devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ransomville, NY, Mary Ann’s faith was a guiding light, offering her strength and community throughout her life. Mary Ann’s legacy is one of quiet strength, creativity, and unwavering love for her family and faith. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband James Manfre; her brother, Donald Sporney; and her parents. Mary Ann is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael (Dawn) Weich of Ransomville, NY, and Joanne Weich of Niagara Falls, NY; her cherished grandchildren, Staci (Rob) Craft, Emily Weich, Aaron (Shenna) Hannam, Bradley and Stephanie Lapham; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Kolton Craft. She is also survived by her sisters, Claire (Fran) Gawinski and Ginny (Cy) Yerkovich; sister-in-law, Noreen Sporney; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
