Maureen B. Hansen

Maureen Hansen, age 92, of Lewiston wife of the late Donald J. Hansen died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Schoellkopf Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Maureen was born on April 14, 1927 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island Canada, she is the daughter of the late Picton and the late Josephine Brown. She married Donald J. Hansen on July 15, 1953 , he predeceased her on January 26, 2012.Maureen was a homemaker her entire life, she was an avid bingo, bridge and card player and was a member of the Niagara Women's Club. She is survived by her children: Michele (Nicholas) Ricciuti of Youngstown, NY, Kent (Bonnie) Hansen of Port St. Lucie, FL, Paulette (Bruce) Parkhill of PA, Renee Donovan of Lewiston, NY, Terese Ashton (Frank Foley) of Whitby, Ontario and Brian (Amy) Hansen of Lockport, NY also her sister Joan Driscoll. Maureen is predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on August 27th, 2021 at 10:00 Am in St. Peter RC Church, Lewiston. Burial will take place in Oakland Rural Cemetery Town of Porter, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
