Mildred Ruth Taylor Mather

Mildred “Ruth” Taylor Mather, age 93, peacefully went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, surrounded by family, on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She is now joyfully reunited with her beloved husbands, Howard R. Taylor and George R. Mather.

Ruth was born on March 10, 1932, in Dayton, Pennsylvania, to Martin Kerr and Bessie (Lydick) Bittinger.

Known to many simply as Ruth, she had a deep and abiding love for her big, ever-growing family. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved, especially the children. Her gentle presence made everyone feel welcome and cherished. Ruth’s life was a testament to faith, love, and family, and she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Howard and George; her siblings Boyd, Junior, Sarah, and Bill; and many loving friends who welcomed her home.

She is survived by her loving children, Rhonda (Chuck) Gonzalez, Roger (Cheryl Dusen) Taylor, Debra (John) Chudzinski and Dale (Kathi Kerns) Taylor; her stepchildren, Robert (Kathy) Mather and Pat (Nick) Sadowski; 12 cherished grandchildren, 19 adored great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, with one more precious arrival on the way; and her dear sister, Anna Adams.

Arrangements entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 10-11 AM at Ridgewood Bible Church, 7073 Ridge Road, Lockport, where Funeral Services will follow at 11 AM. Friends invited
