Ruth M. Schuler

Ruth Schuler (Antoncich), of Cambria, New York, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born on June 10, 1935, in New York City, she was the beloved daughter of Anthony and Vernly (Mayer) Antoncich. Ruth was a gifted seamstress whose talent and creativity touched many. She enjoyed bingo, diamond art, and, above all, time spent with her family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Kevin; her great‑grandson, Cameron; her former husband, Elmer Schuler; and her sister, Joan Freeland.

She is survived by her four children: Diane (Dieter) Fallgatter, Peggy Chisam, Donald (Patricia Sion) Schuler, and Thomas Schuler; her siblings Mary Zastrow, Sharon Warren, Cindy Antoncich, and Bill (Donna) Antoncich. She was the cherished grandmother of Cally (Jeffrey) Couturier, Kim Kirchgraber, Clint Chisam, Lindsay (Craig) Bial, Brett (Scarlett) Chisam, and Nicole (David) Milbrand; proud great‑grandmother of seven, with one more on the way; and great‑great‑grandmother to one.

There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
