Terryl "Terry" F. Walck

Terryl "Terry" (Fadel) Walck, 78, of Ransomville, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2026.

Born on October 17, 1947, in Niagara Falls, New York, Terry was the beloved daughter of Chester and Marguerite (White) Fadel. She attended Niagara Falls High School, graduating with high honors before pursuing her passion for music and voice at SUNY Oneonta.

On December 6, 1969, Terry married Jerry C. Walck. Together they shared nearly 57years of marriage.

Music was Terry's lifelong passion and God-given gift. Whether she was singing, playing the piano, or performing on the organ, she brought joy and inspiration to everyone who heard her. She dedicated many years to teaching music at St. Peter's Lutheran School and Stella Niagara Education Park, where she directed productions and concerts that touched the lives of countless students. The children she taught held a special place in her heart and brought her immeasurable joy.

Terry faithfully served as organist at Lutheran Church of the Escarpment and Messiah Lutheran Church for more than 50 years. She directed and sang with the church choir at Messiah and shared her love of music with the Lewiston Choraliers and the Lewiston Larks. She especially enjoyed teaching Vacation Bible School and delivering children's messages at church. If Terry was not at home, chances were she could be found serving at her church. Her unwavering faith, generous spirit, and dedication to her church family were evident in everything she did.

Above all else, Terry's greatest blessing and proudest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother to Jennifer (Jason) Lombardi, Michael Walck, and Eric (Karen) Walck; and her beloved grandchildren, Jacob Lombardi, Jared Lombardi, Nathan Walck, Nicholas Walck, Alyssa Walck, and Andrew Walck.

Terry had a remarkable way of making everyone feel loved and cared for. She never missed a school event, family celebration, recital, or sporting event. Whether she was cooking a favorite meal, baking a special treat, babysitting, sending thoughtful cards and gifts, or running an errand to make someone's day easier, she was always there. Serving others was simply who she was, and she did so with grace, humility, and a joyful heart.

Terry is survived by her husband, Jerry; her three children and six grandchildren; her brothers, David (late Vicki) Fadel and Harold Fadel; mother-in-law, Jean Walck, sister-in-law's, Patricia (Ron) Purdy and Pamela Walck; her cherished nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, friendship, and love.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her family takes comfort in knowing that her legacy of faith, music, compassion, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Arrangements entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 401 Ridge Street, Lewiston. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held on September 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Lutheran Church of the Messiah, 915 Oneida Street, Lewiston, New York.
