William G. Andrews, Sr.

William G. Andrews, Sr., of Wilson, NY, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born on November 6, 1946 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Forrest and Emma (nee Miller) Andrews.

Bill was a proud farmer whose life revolved around cattle, crops, and the rhythm of the land. He believed in finishing the day’s work by sunset, and his dedication to the farm was matched only by his commitment to family and community. For 35 years, he worked for the Niagara County Sewer District, bringing the same reliability and grit to his job that he brought to the fields.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Scott R. Andrews, and his sister, Bonnie Dunn.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Dawn M. (Michael) Weich, and son, William G. Andrews, Jr.; cherished grandchildren, Staci (Rob), Emily, Aaron (Shenna), Ian, Dillon, Cody, and Michael; and adored great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Kolton. Bill is also survived by his former daughter-in-laws, Linda Gross and Shelley Andrews; several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 3–7 PM at HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, where Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM. Interment will be held privately in Bear Ridge Cemetery.
