William "Bill" E. Wolf

William E. “Bill” Wolf, 67, of Lockport, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Lockport Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 2, 1958, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Richard Valjean Wolf and Alice Maria Gilliland. Bill was a 1976 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School. A dedicated and skilled machinist throughout his life, he worked for the Sherwood Division of Harsco in Lockport and later completed his career with Bernzomatic in Medina.

Bill was a man who found joy in simple, steady pleasures. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and target shooting at the range, and he cherished time spent with his family. A true movie enthusiast, Bill loved collecting films, often assembling complete sets on both VHS and DVD, a hobby that brought him great satisfaction.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his caring siblings, Carol Kit Slater, George Wolf, Sallie Sweatman, and Richard Wolf; and his brother‑in‑law, Jack Clyde.

He is survived by his dear sister, Alice “Chip” M. Clyde; his sister‑in‑law, Linda Wolf; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss his quiet humor, loyalty, and gentle presence.

Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Oakland Rural Cemetery, Youngstown, NY.
